ELECTRONICS AND CIRCUIT TECHNOLOGY

This textbook introduces the field of electronic circuit design and is aimed at students of electrical engineering, computer science, communications engineering, and other technical and information technology programs. The presentation of fundamental concepts is clear and tailored to understanding circuits. A collection of review questions at the end of each chapter reinforces the material.

Readers learn how important components such as resistors, capacitors, inductors, diodes, bipolar transistors, and MOS transistors, etc., work.

The possible applications of the components in circuits are discussed in detail.

The following are presented. Small-signal (amplifier) operation and large-signal (digital) operation are explained, and the most important calculation methods are introduced.

Using selected application circuits such as operational amplifiers,

Analog-to-digital converters, CMOS technology, memory, and other technologies are used to illustrate the implementation of complex functions through electronic circuits. Computer-based circuit analysis is briefly discussed using the example of a frequency filter (using the PSPICE program). New topics include: circuits for low supply voltages, signal amplifiers for sensors, and parasitic elements in passive components.
